What's special about the Sheba formula in henna boxx?
Normal henna
- 4 hour staining time. Normal high street henna formulas recommend up to 4 hours of drying time for a colorful stain that lasts.
- May irritate skin. Some high street hennas that promise a rich stain quickly use a chemical additives or hair dyes that contain PPD (paraphenylenediamine) sometimes called "emergency henna".

These ingredients are not safe for use and are known skin irritants. - Not dark-skin friendly. High street henna often doesn't reach the intesity of color needed to show on darker skin tones.
Sheba blend
- Stains within 1 hour. Lasts up to 7+ days. We say 60 minutes for the best results with your henna tattoo. But our formula can actually be removed after 20 minutes and still leave a stain for 2-3 days. So it's perfect for busy mommas or energitic kids 😉
- Plant-based & skin friendly. ShebaHenna is our unique henna blend, and is not available anywhere else. It's made from the Lawsonia inermis plant, so doesn't use artificial, skin-irritant dyes and is safe to use.
- Works on darker skin tones (unlike other types of henna). Most high street henna doesn't stain on dark skin. The final finish is too light to make a difference. Luckily, our Sheba formula has a vibrant, rich henna tattoo stain that's actually visible!
